Hello

As a native to Rexburg, Idaho, I am familiar with the struggles faced in rural practice settings. This is why I trained in rural areas and selected a DNP program with an emphasis in rural practice. I believe that patients are served best when they understand their care. For this reason, patient education in health promotion and disease prevention are at the center of my practice philosophy. Interprofessional relationships are essential to providing high quality patient care. Collaboration, communication, and shared-decision making are tools I have developed to provide my patients with the best care possible.

Ideal Job Description

Idaho holds a special place in my heart. Providing care in the state I grew up in is my goal. Although I am trained in family medicine, I have a particular interest and experience in women's health (including obstetrics) and pediatrics. A family practice that sees these populations or a women's health office would be preferable for this reason.

As a nurse practitioner, I plan to practice at the top of my license to the extent of my competency and training. A practice setting that supports independent, yet collaborative practice, most closely aligns with this goal. Benefits including health insurance, 401K or similar retirement plan, PTO, and scheduled administrative hours is ideal.
